As a travel blogger, and thus frequent traveler, I compiled this list out of curiosity mostly. The majority of us are already familiar with the strongest currencies in the world including the United States Dollar, the Euro, and the Kuwait Dinar, etc.
However, many of us don’t often consider the world’s cheapest currency. I wondered what those lowest value currencies were, and in which country I could fine them. So I did a little research and came up with this list of the cheapest currency in the world.

Before you take a trip, make an investment, or make any other decisions related to foreign currency, you are encouraged to do your own research and confirm current exchange rates at the time you are traveling.
I would also like to add that I am not recommending travel to the destinations or countries below. Prior to planning a trip, please conduct research on the safety and stability of the region to which you wish to travel.
While I am not a currency expert, it is common knowledge that the strength of a nation’s currency is related to the strength of a nation’s economy. We also know that the strength of a nation’s economy is also an indicator of the stability of that nation.
In cases where currency is weak, you often find instability, conflict, and civil unrest, among many other concerns. Please travel responsibly.
